Dr. Anja Jelaska
Dr. Anja Jelaska is an accomplished early intervention specialist and a certified behavior analyst (BCBA) with over 23 years of experience supporting children and young individuals diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders (ASD). Her expertise lies particularly in addressing severe behavioral disorders within the ASD population. Dr. Anja has extensively studied the principles of behavioral learning and advanced applied behavior analysis (ABA). As a highly qualified clinician, she employs ABA therapy to facilitate significant clinical advancements in the children she directly works with.
She holds the distinction of establishing Croatia’s first multidisciplinary clinic, known as Blue Light, dedicated to providing comprehensive services for children with autism and other developmental disabilities. Throughout her career, Dr. Anja has played an integral role in the establishment and operation of diverse clinics and centers, including notable contributions as a consultant in the United Arab Emirates and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. She has also conducted training sessions for practitioners, parents, and students enrolled in university programs.
