Discover how neurofeedback can transform your sleep and calm your mind.
For individuals suffering from insomnia or other sleep disorders, neurofeedback can improve sleep patterns by teaching the brain to achieve more restful states.
By promoting relaxation and helping individuals learn to manage their stress response, neurofeedback can decrease symptoms of anxiety and increase overall emotional resilience.
HOW neurofeedback therapy session WORKS?
Preparing the therapy room to be as relaxing and comforting for patients as possible.
Like electroencephalography (EEG), neurofeedback therapy sessions begin by wearing a helmet with attached electrodes. There are no needles involved.
Depending on the issue we are addressing, you will play video games or watch cartoon on a screen. We will be closely monitoring activity.
Throughout the activity, the you will receive cues about how your brain is performing. The goal is for you to stay in tune with your reactions, allowing them to steer your brain towards the desired state.
Repeating the process. Results are not shown the moment you step out of the office. Neurofeedback therapy can often take between 5 and 20 sessions.
Interesting fact
An interesting fact about the relationship between neurofeedback and conditions like insomnia and anxiety is that neurofeedback can significantly improve sleep patterns and reduce anxiety by training the brain to modulate its own activity. Neurofeedback therapy targets specific brainwave frequencies that are associated with different states of alertness or relaxation.
